Other indicators of hard water can include discoloration of fixtures in your home where water is used - such as your sinks and shower.

HOW TO REMEDIATE EFFECTS OF HARD WATER
The best remedy for water issues is to add a softening or filtration system to your home or shower’s water. A shower head with a filter can be very effective in removing a great deal of impurities from the water you use at home.
Don’t wash your hair with hard water if you can help it. Using your gym or getting a salon blowout can work for some people that can’t avoid the negative effects of hard water!

How to use demineralizing and hard water products:
When cleansing, use your demineralizing shampoo for your first lather. Lather, rinse, repeat!
If you choose, you can use your normal shampoo for your secondary cleansing lather. Focus on the root, and your natural hair when shampooing.
