  • HOW TO WEAR YOUR HAIR

    Don't worry about washing or styling your hair before you arrive. Our extension application always starts with a clarifying wash and blowout.

    WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

    You can wear whatever you would like! However, we recommend that you wear something comfy since we’ll be sitting all day.

    Our best photos happen when you wear a contrasting colored top - lighter tops with darker hair colors, and darker tops with lighter hair colors! Neutral colors free of pattern allow for the best visual of your hair color.

    We do ask that you avoid: wearing sweatshirts with hoods or bulky sweaters (that can't be removed) to your visit.

  • WHAT TO BRING

    The appointment is a long one, so feel free to bring anything with you to help pass the time!

    Sitting through the service is the hardest part. It does help to have something to keep you occupied while I work on your hair.

    My guests tend to bring:

    - books
    - work / a laptop / tablet
    - earbuds
    - specific snacks you wish to have with you

    What we have available for you:

    - snacks for your appointment, coffee, tea, etc is also available
    - extension cords! we love long cords and have plenty of plugs available for you to use.
    - chargers for most devices
    - earbuds if you happen to forget yours
    - local delivery services for lunch

    NOTE: Eating within a long appointment is highly encouraged to prevent hangry - ness! Even if we are not joining in eating with you, please feel free to eat while you are with us. Trust me - it helps!

  • GOOD TO KNOW

    If you're running behind on the day of your appointment, just shoot me a text! The more notice I have, the better - but I get that life happens; so just let me know.

    The application takes time and cannot be rushed! However, I do share with my guests that I am able to work faster when I don't talk the entire time. :)

  • OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

    Our application process always begins with a special clarifying wash to ensure that your hair is completely free of any residue or potential interference with the extension application.

    1. Once your hair is clarified, we rinse your hair and blow dry completely. We do not use styling or conditioning agents in the natural hair ahead of any new hair extension application.

    2. As needed ahead of your application, we trim or shape the natural hair.

    3. Once your application is complete, we then shape and blend your new extensions with your natural hair, and the service is completed!

    4. Keep in mind that you must wait 48 hours to shampoo your hair after your new set of extensions are applied.

    5. Additional shaping or adjustments to the length or weight of the hair are addressed during your complimentary follow-up visit.

    • we request that no outside visitors, including minor children, attend your appointment.

    • we do not have adequate waiting space to allow for additional guests to remain present during the service. our process is tedious and avoiding distraction is essential to the best end result.

    • we love your dogs, but please leave your fur babies at home! we can not accommodate the additional care required if an animal were to be present during the service.

    • Your service includes a complimentary follow up visit to ensure that your application and overall shape is perfection!

    • At this time, you are welcome to share any questions that you might have.

    • Your follow up visit is complementary and is included with your extension service. We include a blowout and shaping for your extensions

      • If you would prefer your follow up to be less than 1 hour, come with clean hair and we will blow-dry and shape your hair as needed!

  • All extension appointments or visits related to your hair extensions are planned adequately to allow for appropriate timing between visits.

    We encourage all of our guests to appropriately plan your visits in order to accommodate the time required for your extension appointments.

    COLOR SERVICES BEFORE EXTENSIONS

    • if you have color appointments ahead of your new set of extensions, or appointments scheduled in addition to your hair extensions, additional appointments changed will result in needing to move your set of extensions.

    TEXTURE SERVICES BEFORE EXTENSIONS

    • should you have a keratin treatment or other texture services that needs to be rescheduled, the treatment must be applied a minimum of seven days ahead of your extensions.

    • Should you choose to move a texture service ahead of your extension application, you must also move your extension appointment.

    We request a minimum of 7 days for schedule changes to best accommodate the needs for our guests and schedule.

    Should you need to reschedule any appointments with us, please reach out to Kristin directly.

    Our guest reception is not able to reschedule ANY extension appointments without explicit direction from Kristin.

    • It is extremely important to be mindful of the extension wear time that we recommend! In the best interest of your natural hair, we provide recommendations for our guests to protect their natural hair condition and to have the best results from your extension wear time.

    • Scheduling your removal visit can be done by directly contacting Kristin via email or text! Should you need your color refreshed, your removal and color can be done in the same appointment.

  • A majority of our guests LOVE wearing their extensions and the process to book your next set is simple!

    Removal and reinstallation appointments are done at two separate appointments.

    • Appointment 1: removal of your current extensions, along with a color appointment if needed

    • Appointment 2: new extensions are applied!

      • Whenever possible, we book these visits in back to back appointments or within a day or two of the other. Most of our guests prefer this schedule because honestly - we don’t like to be without extensions for very long, either!

    • Should you want to make any changes to your hair for your next set, this will sometimes alter the ability to have back to back appointments, but will ultimately be dependent on the individual changes needed.

    • If you do not want to make any changes to your hair between sets, then it’s super easy to do! We can absolutely replicate your last application.

    • To make it even easier, we’re able to send you a digital deposit link that can be paid through our secure system. Unless necessary, most people don’t need to come in for an additional consultation.
